Sivasubramaniam is the Senior Manager and National Lead for Transport Systems & Electric Mobility at the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP).
He is responsible for implementing and aligning public transport and electric mobility initiatives across the organization through effective communication, monitoring, and evaluation. With over a decade of experience, Siva brings a strong technical background and an in-depth understanding of the political and global context to his current role.
Siva is leading the ITDP India team in managing and steering the National Transport4All Challenge in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, supporting over 100 cities in reforming their public transport, both formal and informal. He also oversaw the production of the People Near Transit report for Pune and Chennai, as well as the Congestion Pricing report for Mumbai.
Prior to joining ITDP, Siva worked with the Directorate of Urban Land Transport as a Senior Transport Planner and Anchor for the Traffic, Transportation & ITS Vertical.
