Mile Awards

The Vision: Regional Focus, National Impact

The West India Edition serves as the premier regional launchpad for MILE 2026. West India is the powerhouse of the Indian automotive sector, contributing over 35% of the country’s auto production. By centering this edition in Mumbai, we are bringing together the policy-makers of Maharashtra and Gujarat with the manufacturing giants of Pune and the innovative startups of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor.

Note: This is the first of a series of regional chapters. Following the West India Edition, MILE will expand to South (Bengaluru), North (Delhi-NCR), and East (Kolkata) to create a truly decentralized dialogue on the future of mobility.

Theme: Energizing the Western Corridor: From Manufacturing to Adoption.

  • The Hub of Manufacturing: Leveraging the established ecosystems of Pune (The Detroit of the East) and Gujarat’s emerging EV parks.
  • Policy Leadership: Navigating the Maharashtra EV Policy 2025 and Gujarat’s roadmap for sustainable infrastructure.
  • Urban Charging Pioneers: Focus on Mumbai’s unique challenges and successes in high-density urban charging solutions and the Mumbai-Pune “Green Highway” corridor.
