An IIT and IIM graduate, Akshat comes with seven years of experience in the Indian energy
industry - cultivating businesses, forging strategic partnerships and corporate strategies.
Starting his journey from Bharat Petroleum to joining Panasonic as a part of Strategy & new
Business Development team, Akshat has always been in the midst of India’s sustainable
mobility revolution.
With a unique approach to always moving onwards and upwards, and exploring new avenues,
Akshat super headed Panasonic’s cell business in India and also played a crucial part in
developing the company’s charging business for EVs. Striving for affordable energy to be
accessible to all, Akshat joined Exponent in 2021.
At Exponent, Akshat is dedicated to cultivating a strong customer preference for the
company’s charging and battery solutions. As the Strategic Partnership Lead, Akshat is
determined to carve a distinct identity for Exponent’s 15-minute rapid charging as a
phenomenon. He understands that for India to have a smooth EV transition, the industry must
deliver a much better TCO for end customers, and provide 100% freedom from energy
impediments. With Exponent, he aims to address India's mobility challenges, expanding
energy access for all.
