Gopalakrishnan VC works as Director, Automotive and EV sector, with the Industries and Commerce Department in the Government of Telangana. His role entails the gamut of investor relations from generating potential leads to landing their investments in Telangana. A portion of his work day also involves stakeholder interaction to keep a vigilant eye on policy measures of the state to improve ease of doing business and develop the Auto and EV ecosystem. He is one among top 40 under 40 India's dynamic young EV leaders. His professional experience covers Energy, Automotive and Consumer durable sectors. His Bachelor's is from NIT Calicut in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, post which he has worked for a short term in Power Sector in the Operations vertical. He has done PGP in Management at ISB Hyderabad with Operations and Marketing majors. In his most recent stint with a Japanese automotive manufacturer, he managed Business Development and Customer Programs.
