Chief Business Officer, Stride Green

Vivek Jain is the Chief Business Officer and is leading the EV Financing and Leasing business across vehicle form factors, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders such as OEMs, Charging Infra companies, Logistics and Ecommerce conglomerates, Battery ecosystem partners such as manufacturers, recyclers, swap networks etc, Telematics and Technology Service Providers etc. Vivek Jain has been a Director at Stride Ventures and his role at the fund included leading investments with the complete lifecycle from deal sourcing to monitoring, augmenting investor relations and handling strategic partnerships with VCs, banks & other institutions. Vivek brings more than 17 years of experience in Wholesale Banking (Large and Mid Size Corporate Relationships, Startups, Investment Banking, Structured Finance, Project Finance) with leading banks such as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDFC FIRST Bank and a NBFC (Aditya Birla Finance).

In his last stint at HDFC Bank, Vivek has been a key founding member of Financial Sponsors Group for the startup ecosystem collaborating with Venture Capital, Venture Debt, Private Equity, AIFs and their investee companies. He has led financing for new economy businesses with products and structures addressing the requirements of startups while covering risks for the Bank.
