Vijayanand Samudrala is an industry thought leader with over 33 years of diverse leadership experience at Amara Raja Group, driving growth, transformation, and innovation across energy storage, sustainable mobility, and emerging energy transition technologies. He holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, along with a General Management and Leadership Program certification from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Samudrala brings deep expertise in advanced battery technologies, EV ecosystems, energy storage systems, manufacturing strategy, industrial localization, and sustainable energy infrastructure development. Over the course of his career, he has played pivotal roles in building and scaling new technology-led businesses, leading strategic initiatives, establishing global technology partnerships, and enabling successful technology transfer and localization programs.
